What Project Management Approach Is Used? |
| |
| |
Here at Circulent™, we don't take 'project management' lightly. In fact, it's something we take very seriously using the Six Sigma process engineering methodology as the backbone for all projects. Using this foundation allows us to create engineered processes with minimal complexity that drive efficient, effective, and ever improving processes. Our consultants work with client organizations to set strategy, set goals, define existing processes, measure existing processes and environments, design improvement processes, implement new processes, and ultimately to manage the new processes for our customers.
And since all our projects our technology-oriented, Six Sigma allows us to quantify each step of the way. Results included! |

What is a PDF? |
| |
| |
Short for 'Portable Document Format,' PDF is a file format developed by Adobe Systems for capturing information from a variety of desktop publishing applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint) making it possible to send snapshots of documents and have them appear on the recipient's monitor as they were intended to be viewed, but without the opportunity to change the original contents.
As an example, if a business wants to send a contract to a client, but in a form that cannot be altered, a PDF version would be sent.
A properly prepared PDF will maintain the original fonts, images, graphics as well as the exact layout of the file. A PDF file can be shared, viewed, and printed by anyone using the free Adobe Reader software regardless of the operating system, original design application, or fonts.
Originally PDFs were mostly used by graphic artists, designers and publishers for producing color page proofs. With its evolving technology, however, today PDF is used for virtually any data that needs to be exchanged among applications and users. |
